Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft

Details of installation of epiploons of a cranked shaft and accompanying components (on an example of models with Manual transmission)

Forward epiploon

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    The forward epiploon is located in a nest in the case of the oil pump. Remove pump assemblage (see Has undressed Removal, installation and service of the oil pump). Having hooked the wrapped up soft rags a screw-driver, take an epiploon from the landing nest. Manually fill a new epiploon in a landing nest in its case.
    By means of a press and approaching оправки (a piece of a pipe or a core external диметром 45 mm) plant an epiploon in a nest заподлицо with a surface of the case of the pump, - rest оправку only against a firm face surface of an epiploon.
    Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget about necessity of observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Engine to efforts of a tightening of carving fixture.

Back epiploon

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    The back epiploon is planted in a back cover of the engine. The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for petrol models (the Section Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft see).
