Power supply system checks
Preliminary checks
|
Check up a condition of the storage battery (Heads Current leaving and service and Systems of an electric equipment of the engine see).
Check up a condition of all safety locks (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head).
Disunite and again join all sockets of corresponding electronic systems. Check up reliability of fixing of sockets and electroconducting plaits in an impellent compartment.
Check up reliability of fastening of all connections of weight.
Visually estimate a condition of hoses and pipelines of a working path of the power supply system, special attention giving to revealing of cracks and other mechanical damages.
Replace defective components, tighten ослабшие штуцерные sockets.

Check of tightness of a fuel path
Check of working pressure in a fuel path
|
Before ignition deenergizing consider the manometre indication. If the result of measurement makes less than 292.5 кПа, make following checks:
Check of a pressure developed by the fuel pump;
Check of passableness of fuel lines;
Check of passableness of the filter of thin clearing;
Check of tightness of a regulator of pressure;
Check of tightness of injectors.

The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for check of tightness of a fuel path with that only a difference that the hose directly behind the union of connection of a manometre is necessary for pressing at installation of the last.
The size of the pressure kept in the cut part of a fuel path within 5 minutes, should make 340 кПа. At negative result of measurement replace assemblage of the fuel pump. Do not forget to take a crosspiece from socket DLC.

Check of a developed pressure

The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for tightness check запорного the valve of pump assemblage with that only a difference that reading of indications of a manometre is made at the included ignition.

Checks of the relay of the fuel pump
Check of serviceability of functioning

At inclusion of ignition of the relay should publish distinctly heard click.
|
|
Conductivity check
|
Take the relay (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head).
|
Submit pressure in 12 In on plugs №№ 2 and 4 relays, - between plugs №№ 5 and 1/3 conductivity should take place. At removal of a food conductivity should be absent.

Checks of a regulator of pressure
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Start the engine on single turns and consider the measuring instrument indication, - demanded value makes 235 кПа.
Disconnect the vacuum hose going from a regulator of pressure and repeat measurement, - demanded value makes 292.5 кПа.
Faulty regulator replace (see Has undressed Removal and installation of a regulator of pressure of fuel). Do not forget to take a crosspiece from socket DLC.

Check on tightness
|
Press nippers a returnable hose of a regulator, wait an order of 5 minutes and consider the measuring instrument indication. If the result of measurement makes less than 147 кПа, replace a regulator (see Has undressed Removal and installation of a regulator of pressure of fuel). Do not forget to take a crosspiece from socket DLC.

|
Check of injectors
|
Infringement of tightness of valves of fuel injectors is interfaced to difficulties at start of the hot engine. Damage of injectors can be at the bottom of diesel engine-effect occurrence when the engine continues to work at the switched off ignition. |
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Make sure of reliability of fixing of injectors in the fuel highway excluding probability of their displacement during performance of check.
Start the engine on single turns and warm up to normal working temperature.
Without suppressing the engine, by means of a stethoscope make sure of serviceability of functioning of each separate injector, - presence of clicks specifies in serviceability of opening and closing of valves.

At absence near at hand a stethoscope check can be made to the touch by means of a screw-driver or a finger. |
If any of injectors does not publish any sounds, it is necessary to make sure of serviceability of giving on it of a food and to measure electric resistance.

|
Visually estimate a condition of the electroconducting brought to injectors, then make sure available pressure of a food on plugs №№ 16, 17, 34 and 35 contact sockets ECM.
Faulty injectors replace (see Has undressed Removal and installation of fuel injectors).

Check on tightness
Check of volume of injection
|
|
Spread on a nozzle of an injector a piece of a hose of the suitable diameter which second end lower in measured capacity, connect to the storage battery a special tester (SST) and an injector subject to check. The serviceable injector should provide the expense of 130 sm3/minutes
|
Replace faulty injectors (see Has undressed Removal and installation of fuel injectors), - do not forget to replace sealing rings and to grease them before installation by pure impellent oil.
|
|
Check of electric resistance
|
Disconnect from an injector subject to checking electroconducting.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of an injector. The demanded result makes 12 16 Ohm at temperature 20 With.
|
In case of need replace an injector.
|
|
Checks of the valve of stabilisation of turns of idling (IAC)
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature.
|
Disunite a socket of electroconducting of valve IAC, - the distinct click accompanied by increase of turns of the engine approximately to 1000 in minute should be distributed. If engine turns do not change, it is necessary to check up resistance of a winding of the valve.
|
|
|
Resistance check
|
Make sure that ignition is switched off and disunite a valve socket.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of a socket, - at temperature 20С resistance between plugs №№ 1 and 2 should make 18.5 20.1 Ohm, between plugs №№ 1 and 3 - 35.3 36.9 Ohm and between plugs 2 and 3 - 16.0 17.6 Ohm.

The faulty valve replace (see Has undressed Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).

Check of the gauge of position throttle заслонок (TPS)
Check of serviceability of functioning
|
|
Disconnect from TPS electroconducting and connect between plugs №№ 2 and 3 sockets of the gauge an ohmmeter.
|
Make sure of linearity of the schedule of dependence of resistance of the gauge from position throttle заслонок. At completely closed throttle resistance TPS should make approximately 1 clod, at completely opened - approximately 2.4 clod.
The faulty gauge is subject to replacement, - do not forget to check up under the same scheme replaceable TPS.

Pressure check
|
Make sure that throttle заслонки are in completely closed position.
Include ignition.
Connect the voltmeter between plugs № 1 and № 2 sockets of the gauge.
Make sure of linearity of the schedule of dependence of indications of the voltmeter from position throttle заслонок. At completely closed throttle the result of measurement should make 0.5 In, at completely opened - 4.1 Century

|
Check of the gauge of measurement of weight of air (MAF)
|
Warm up the engine to normal working temperature and leave it to work on single turns.
|
Connect the voltmeter between weight and the plug № 4 (a red-green wire) a socket of the gauge and consider its indication, - demanded value makes 0.8 1.2 Century
|
Lift engine turns, - the voltmeter indication should change, having risen to value 3.5 4 Century
The faulty gauge is subject to replacement.
|
|
Check of the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid (ECT)
|
|
Gauge ECT is located near to the thermostat, - disconnect from the gauge electroconducting.
|
Remove gauge ECT and lower it in a vessel with water.
|
By means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between contact plugs of a socket of the gauge. Demanded value makes 2.45 0.24 clod at temperature 20 With and 0.322 0.032 clod at temperature 80 With.
|
The faulty gauge is subject to replacement.
Installation is made upside-down, - do not forget to replace a sealing washer, track, that the gauge has been tightened with demanded effort (25 29 Nanometers).
In summary start the engine and check up it on presence of signs of development of leaks of a cooling liquid.

Check of the gauge of temperature of soaked up air (IAT)
|
Switch off ignition.
Disconnect from gauge IAT electroconducting and by means of an ohmmeter measure resistance between plugs № 1 and № 2 sockets of the gauge, - demanded value makes 2.21 2.69 clod at temperature 20 With.
The faulty gauge replace, - do not forget to establish a sealing washer, track reliability защелкивания a clamp.

Check of the main relay
|
Uncover the impellent compartment of the main assembly block of safety locks located in the right part (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head).
|
Having pressed a finger to the main relay, make sure that it regularly clicks at ignition inclusion, - take advantage of the help of the assistant. The relay should click as well at ignition deenergizing.
|
Take the relay from the landing nest and submit pressure of the battery between plugs № 86 (+) and 85 (-) the relay. Make sure available conductivity between plugs №№ 03 and 87, - at switching-off of a food conductivity should be absent.
The faulty relay is subject to replacement. Track reliability защелкивания covers of the assembly block.
