On cars considered in the present Management the distributing box which has been not equipped in interaxal differential in view of what, in order to avoid fast deterioration редукторной assemblages, it is necessary to avoid inclusion of all-wheel drive modes (4Н and 4L) at movement on dry roads with a good covering is established! Use all-wheel drive modes only in cases of the valid necessity, - remember that operation of the car with the connected forward drive is interfaced to increase in the expense of fuel, increase of a vibrating and noise background and acceleration of degree of deterioration of tyres! Speed of movement in a mode 4Н should not exceed 90 km/h! |
The general information
The distributing box is intended for twisting moment distribution between forward and back car bridges.
The lever of switching of modes of a distributing box is located in the bottom part of the central console, behind the gear change lever (Manual transmission) / the selector (АТ). On models with Manual transmission the lever allows to choose one of four modes of a box: 2Н, 4Н, (N) and 4L, on models with АТ - one of three: 2Н, 4Н, and 4L.

At activation of a full drive (4L or 4H) watch completeness of switching, - incomplete introduction of gear wheels in gearing is interfaced to risk of loss of the control over driving! |
On equipped vacuum муфтами a free wheeling models switching between modes 2Н and 4Н can be made directly during movement of the car with small speed (to 40 km/h), and necessity for coupling squeezing on models with Manual transmission is absent.
For mode activation 4L it is necessary to stop completely movement, to squeeze out a foot/lay brake, to squeeze out coupling (models with Manual transmission) / to translate the selector lever in position N (to model with АТ), then accurately to switch the lever of a distributing box in position 4L (models with АТ) / at first in position N, then in position 4L (models with Manual transmission).

At incomplete deenergizing of a distributing box all wheels of the car can rotate freely, - do not forget to cock a lay brake! |
N — Only on models with Manual transmission. In neutral position of a distributing box the drive of both bridges is disconnected. Built in a combination of devices the light indicator (the Section the Combination of devices, measuring instruments, control lamps and light indicators see) also is disconnected.

In the given mode all wheels of the car freely rotate, - do not forget to cock a lay brake! |
2H — the Basic mode of a distributing box. The drive is carried out only on wheels of the back bridge. The light indicator is disconnected.
4H — the Drive is carried out on wheels of both bridges. The light indicator burns. The mode is intended for movement on roads with a slippery or friable covering (snow, a dirt, sand), and also at loss of coupling of wheels with road during movement in a mode 2Н.

4L — All four wheels leaders, the reducer of a distributing box is switched to lowering transfer. The light indicator is included. Are provided the maximum coupling of wheels with road and the maximum traction effort. It is recommended to make the way if necessary through a site covered with deep snow/dirt/sand, and also on especially abrupt liftings/descents and at towage тяжелогруженых trailers. The mode is not intended for long use.
