Removal, installation and service of the oil pump

The given procedure is among those which performance does not demand removal of the engine from the car.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Empty cooling system (Current leaving and service see the Head). Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Merge impellent oil (Current leaving and service see the Head). Remove a belt of drive ГРМ (Current leaving and service see the Head). Remove the pallet картера, маслозаборник and маслоотражатель (see Has undressed Removal and pallet installation картера). Turn out two bolts of fastening of the steering pump and four bolts of fastening of its basic arm. Remove the steering pump in gathering with a basic arm. Remove from a cranked shaft a cogwheel of drive ГРМ, - in case of need take advantage of a stripper intended for dismantle of a steering wheel. Turn out four remained fixing bolts and remove assemblage of the oil pump.
    Remove from pump assemblage a sealing ring (1).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish on pump assemblage the NEW sealing ring.
    Impose on an interfaced surface of pump assemblage a continuous pillow of hermetic.
    Establish the pump on the engine and fix its four bolts, having tightened the last with demanded effort (bolts And: 22 Nanometers, bolts In: 44.5 Nanometers). Turn out two bottom, then two top bolts of fastening of compressor K/V. Release three bolts of fastening of a basic arm of compressor K/V. Establish a basic arm of the steering pump and fix its four bolts, having tightened them manually. Tighten three bolts of fastening of basic arm К/В. Establish into place compressor K/V, manually having tightened bolts of its fastening. Tighten bolts of fastening of the compressor (at first top, then bottom) with demanded effort (23.5 Nanometers). Tighten with demanded effort (32.4) bolts of fastening of a basic arm of the steering pump. Establish the steering pump and fix its two bolts, having tightened the last with demanded effort (57.5 Nanometers). Establish into place a cogwheel of a cranked shaft, having tightened the big central bolt with demanded effort (162 Nanometers). The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget about necessity of observance of requirements of Specifications of the Head the Engine to efforts of a tightening of carving fixture. Fill in in the engine fresh engine oil. Start the engine and check up it on presence of signs of development of leaks through joints of the established components. In summary check up correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, in case of need make corresponding updating (see the Head of System of an electric equipment of the engine).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Transfer pump assemblage on a workbench, turn out seven fixing screws and uncover (1). Take internal (3) and external (2) rotors. Take a lock ring and remove components редукционного the valve (a saddle, a spring and плунжер). Take an epiploon (5), - the epiploon is subject to replacement without fail (the Section Replacement of epiploons of a cranked shaft see).

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Attentively examine the case and a pump cover, in case of revealing of cracks, deformations and other mechanical damages replace defective components. Estimate deterioration degree плунжера assemblages редукционного the valve, in case of need make its replacement. Check up a spring condition клапанной assemblages, in case of revealing of defects make replacement. Measure free length a spring, - if the result of measurement exceeds value of 45.5 mm, the spring also is subject to replacement. Make control gaugings:
    Measure size axial люфта rotors;
    Measure backlash size between tops of teeths of rotors;
    Measure size люфта landings of an external rotor in the working chamber of the case.
    Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of the Head the Engine, in case of need make corresponding replacements.

Assemblage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Before landing in pump assemblage grease the NEW epiploon with pure impellent oil. The cover is put on the case through hermetic. Track, that fixing screws have been tightened with demanded effort (7.5 Nanometers).
