Removal and installation
|
|
Details of installation of a cable drum are shown on an illustration of the Detail of installation of the module of a driver's face-to-face pillow of safety.
Establish forward wheels in rectilinear position.
Make sure that forward wheels of the car are resulted in rectilinear position.
Remove the module of a driver's face-to-face pillow of safety (see Has undressed Removal and installation of the module of a driver's pillow of safety).
Release a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.
Mark position of a wheel concerning a steering shaft.
By means of a special stripper dismantle a steering wheel.
Turn out three fixing screws and dismantle a contact cable drum together with combined подрулевым the switch.
Installation is made upside-down, - before definitive installation of a steering wheel and the module of a pillow of safety do not forget to adjust a cable drum.

Adjustment

At adjustment of a contact cable drum the special pin which is delivered complete with new подрулевым the switch is used, - at installation of the original switch it is necessary to prepare replacement to an adjusting pin. |

|
Temporarily establish a steering wheel and deduce forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position. Remove a wheel.
Against the stop develop a cable drum clockwise.

|
Return a drum back on 2.75 a turn, - стрелочные indexes on a plate of a drum and its casing should be combined.

Establish a steering wheel, - track correctness of combination of the landing labels put in the course of dismantle.
