Estimation of a condition of components of a suspension bracket and steering drive

Suspension bracket

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Press downwards car redock, - if forward shock-absorbers are serviceable, at отпускании the body should return to a starting position without rocking. Similarly estimate a condition of back shock-absorbers. Will pay also attention to presence of scratches, a gnash and the other extraneous sounds published at rocking of a body.
  2. Hang out the car over the earth and attentively check up shock-absorbers and screw springs on presence of deformations, cracks, having chopped off and other mechanical damages. Make sure of absence of signs of development of leaks of shock-absorbers.
  3. Estimate reliability of a tightening of carving fixture of cross-section levers of a forward suspension bracket.
  4. Examine levers and suspension bracket bars on presence of signs of mechanical damages.
  5. Check up a condition of all rubber plugs (levers, stabilizer racks, a jet bar) and пыльников spherical support and hinges.

Steering drive

Do not keep a steering wheel at the working engine in extreme positions within more than 15 seconds!


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Hang out the car over the earth and visually estimate a condition of draughts and levers of a steering trapeze. Make sure of absence люфтов and reliability of a tightening of carving fixture. Check up a condition of rubber plugs and пыльников tips of steering draughts.
  1. Having pulled a steering wheel in various directions, make sure of absence axial and lateral люфтов a steering column. In case of need estimate degree of deterioration of the bearing and the hinge of a steering shaft. Replace defective components.
  1. Develop forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position and slightly turning a steering wheel to the right-to the left, estimate size of its free wheeling. If the result of measurement falls outside the limits an admissible range (5 30 mm), attentively study a condition of all шарнирных knots of a steering drive, also check up, whether has increased excessively люфт gearings of the steering mechanism. Replace defective components.
  1. Tyre out the car on an equal horizontal platform with a firm covering and develop its forward wheels in rectilinear position.
  2. At the working engine some times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop for the purpose of warming up of a working liquid of system of hydrostrengthening (normal working temperature of a hydraulic liquid makes 50 60 С).
  1. Having left the engine working on single turns, pick up a dynamometer by the external end of a spoke of a steering wheel and measure effort of resistance of the last to rotation. If the result of measurement exceeds limiting admissible value (33), check up level of a hydraulic liquid in the tank of the steering pump (Current leaving and service see the Head), examine lines of a hydraulic path on presence of signs of development of leaks, make sure of serviceability of functioning of pump GUR and the steering mechanism, estimate correctness of a tension приводного a belt and check up pressure of a rating of tyres. Make necessary corrections. By прокачивания remove air from hydraulic path ГУР (see Has undressed Removal and installation of components of assemblage of the back bridge), in case of need make check of the pressure head characteristic of the steering pump (see Has undressed Removal, check and installation of shock-absorbers and screw springs).
