Check of coils of ignition
Ignition coils are located under a service cover from the top party of the power unit under a sleeve of an inlet air path of the engine.
Pressure check

Make sure that ignition is switched off.
Remove a service cover and disunite a contact socket of the coil of ignition.

|
Include ignition and measure pressure on plugs of white-red wires of a contact socket of the coil, - demanded value makes an order 12 Century
|
If pressure is absent, check up a condition of the main safety lock, the switch of ignition and connecting electroconducting of a corresponding contour.
The faulty coil is subject to replacement.

Resistance check
|
|
Remember that in each coil it is organised on two primary and on two secondary windings which should be checked in an individual order. |
|
|
|
|
Connect an ohmmeter to positive (+) to the plug of a contact socket of the coil, then, serially connecting the second wire of a measuring instrument to negative (-) to socket plugs, measure resistance of primary windings of bobbin assemblage, - demanded value makes 0.45 0.55 Ohm at 20 With.

|
Operating in a similar manner, measure resistance of secondary windings of the coil, - demanded value makes 13 15 clod at 20 C.
|
At failure of any of windings bobbin assemblage is subject to replacement (the Section Replacement of coils of ignition see).
